Job Description
Yegara Trading Share Company (YTSC) is seeking a skilled and motivated IT and Digital Officer to support the company’s digital transformation agenda. The role focuses on managing the organization’s website and digital platforms while strengthening online visibility, communication, and brand consistency.
Key Responsibilities
A. Web Development & Digital Systems
- Lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company website
- Manage content updates, site structure, performance, and functionality
- Ensure website security, data protection, and regular backups
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather content and technical requirements
- Troubleshoot technical issues and improve user experience
- Document web processes and provide technical guidance when needed
B. Social Media Management & Digital Communications
- Manage and grow YTSC’s official social media platforms, especially LinkedIn
- Plan, create, and publish high-quality digital content aligned with communication strategies
- Ensure all content complies with branding, safeguarding, GESI, and partner communication guidelines
- Monitor engagement, respond professionally, and escalate sensitive issues when required
- Develop content calendars and campaign plans
- Track analytics and prepare performance reports with insights and recommendations
C. Digital Strategy Support
- Support implementation of YTSC’s digital strategy and action plan
- Identify opportunities to improve digital visibility, engagement, and efficiency
- Work closely with advisors and shareholders to integrate strategic guidance
- Ensure all digital activities are aligned with organizational priorities
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, or related fields
Experience
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in web development and/or digital communications
- Proven experience managing corporate or organizational social media platforms
- Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and basic front-end technologies
Technical Skills
- Strong web development and website management skills
- Good understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and digital trends
- Basic graphic design and multimedia skills are an advantage
- Familiarity with data protection, digital security, and content management best practices
