IT Technical Support Advisor : Ethio Telecom

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Troubleshoot computer hardware and related technical problems.
• Support software applications and remote support tools.
• Work with IT service management (ITSM) tools and ticketing systems.
• Apply basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Diagnose technical problems and provide appropriate solutions.
• Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate effectively with team members.
• Stay updated with relevant technologies and industry developments.

Qualifications and Requirements

Educational Qualification

Applicants must have a BSc Degree in one of the following fields:

• Computer Science
• Computer & Electrical Engineering
• Information Technology
• Information Systems
• Information and Communication Technology (ICT)

Experience

• No prior work experience is required.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with software applications and remote support tools.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools and ticketing systems is an advantage.
