Job Description
Job SummaryThe Junior Accountant will support the finance team by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, organizing documentation, and assisting with tax and reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle petty cash management.
- Prepare and process payment requests, invoices, and receipts.
- Ensure financial documents are complete and properly organized.
- Assist with expense reports and vendor invoice processing.
- Support senior accountants during monthly and yearly closing activities.
- Maintain physical and digital financial records.
- Assist in preparing basic tax filings and documentation.
- Identify and resolve basic accounting discrepancies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- 0–2 years of experience as a Junior Accountant.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks experience is an advantage).
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
