Job Description
The Junior Finance Officer/Accountant supports daily financial operations, including billing, insurance claims, reporting, and compliance. The role requires accuracy, integrity, and the ability to handle healthcare-related financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Assist in preparing financial statements
- Review expenses and payroll records
- Maintain financial databases and records
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports
- Support month-end closing activities
- Monitor cash flow and budgets
- Ensure compliance with tax and financial regulations
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Process payments and financial transactions
- Coordinate with auditors and regulatory bodies
Job Requirements
Education
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Experience in healthcare is an advantage
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in Excel, Peachtree, and accounting software
- Knowledge of IFRS, tax filing, and cost accounting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
