Job Description
Bethlehem Youth Academy is recruiting Junior PVA and CTE Teachers to support practical, creative, and career-focused learning for students. The teachers will develop engaging Visual Arts (PVA) and Career & Technical Education (CTE) lessons, encourage students' creativity and technical abilities, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design creative and practical modules for Visual Arts (PVA) and Career & Technical Education (CTE).
- Develop lesson plans aligned with established school and national curriculum models.
- Create an inclusive and safe environment where students can develop their artistic and technical abilities.
- Engage students through practical, creative, and interactive teaching methods.
- Properly maintain equipment, art spaces, workshops, and teaching supplies.
- Organize school exhibitions, cultural showcases, and displays featuring student work.
- Provide after-school enrichment activities and additional support to students.
- Participate in INSET trainings and professional development activities.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to support student achievement.
- Contribute to student development, discipline, and positive school culture.
- Support other teaching responsibilities where required; preference is given to teachers able to teach multiple subjects.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Art, Social Science, or a related field.
Experience:
- 5–10 years of teaching experience in a private school.
- Experience developing lesson plans and delivering curriculum-based instruction.
- Experience engaging students through practical and creative learning is desirable.
