Lead Developer – Full Stack / Software Lead-Arif Pay

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Own end-to-end development of key features and software modules.
• Review code and maintain high engineering standards.
• Establish and promote software development best practices.
• Resolve complex technical issues and improve system reliability.

Architecture & Design

• Design scalable software solutions and system architectures.
• Define APIs, data models, and integration approaches.
• Ensure maintainability through clean architecture and development standards.

Team Leadership

• Mentor and guide engineers through code reviews and coaching.
• Support project planning, estimation, and delivery timelines.
• Facilitate collaboration between frontend, backend, QA, and product teams.

Engineering Excellence

• Improve CI/CD processes, testing strategies, and development workflows.
• Drive performance, security, reliability, and observability practices.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to technical roadmaps.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as a Lead Developer or Senior Developer.
• Strong background in software development, including backend, frontend, or full-stack development.
• Experience designing and delivering production software systems.
• Strong programming skills in one or more relevant languages such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, C#, Go, PHP, or similar.
• Solid understanding of system design, data modeling, and APIs.
• Experience with microservices or modular monolith architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, software testing, and release processes.
• Understanding of containers and infrastructure fundamentals such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to mentor developers and drive engineering standards.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Knowledge of security best practices, OWASP, authentication, and authorization.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Sentry.
• Familiarity with messaging and queueing systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS.
• Experience with performance optimization and large-scale system development.
