Job Description
Kifiya Financial Technologies is seeking an experienced Manager, Compensation and People Analytics to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organization's compensation, benefits, and total rewards frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation Strategy & Governance
- Design, implement, and maintain salary structures, grading systems, and pay progression frameworks.
- Ensure compensation practices are aligned with job evaluation results and organizational structures.
- Lead annual salary reviews, adjustments, and market benchmarking exercises.
- Monitor internal equity and consistency across roles, business units, and locations.
- Provide data-driven recommendations on compensation decisions.
Benefits & Total Rewards Management
- Manage employee benefit programs, including medical insurance, life insurance, pension, and fringe benefits.
- Serve as the primary HR liaison with insurance providers, brokers, and benefit administrators.
- Review and optimize benefit offerings based on employee value, cost efficiency, and organizational risk.
- Ensure benefits policies are properly documented, communicated, and consistently implemented.
Rewards Analytics & Decision Support
- Own compensation and rewards data and analytics.
- Analyze pay equity, turnover drivers, reward competitiveness, and compensation cost trends.
- Develop dashboards and reports to support leadership decision-making.
- Analyze exit, turnover, and employee engagement data to identify reward and retention opportunities.
- Provide analytical insights to support compensation planning and workforce decisions.
Policy, Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with Ethiopian labor laws, tax regulations, and pension requirements related to compensation and benefits.
- Maintain compensation governance frameworks, approval matrices, and documentation standards.
- Identify and mitigate compensation-related risks, including pay compression, inequity, and affordability concerns.
- Maintain audit-ready compensation documentation and records.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with HR Business Partners on compensation decisions related to recruitment, promotions, and role changes.
- Work with Finance on payroll cost forecasting, budgeting, and reward affordability analysis.
- Collaborate with HR Operations to ensure accurate payroll inputs, ERP updates, and employee records.
- Provide compensation data and analysis to support strategic workforce planning.

Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Master's Degree is preferred.
Experience
- 7–12 years of relevant experience in compensation, payroll, total rewards, or HR analytics.
- Strong experience in compensation analysis and rewards management.
- Experience working with ERP/HRIS systems is required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive compensation and employee data.
