Network Technician

Duty Station: NEBE Headquarters, Addis Ababa 
Required Number: 1 
Duration: Six months, with possibility of extension

Qualifications & Experience

• Associate's degree in IT, Network Administration, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent technical certification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in network support, IT support or technician roles.
• CompTIA Network+ or Cisco Certified Technician (CCT) is highly desirable.
• CCNA is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs and subnetting.
• Ethernet and fiber cabling.
• Routers, switches, firewalls and wireless controllers.
• Network troubleshooting tools such as ping, traceroute and nslookup.
• Network monitoring and ticketing systems are an advantage.
