Job Description

The Office Engineer plays a key role in managing project documentation, coordinating technical communication between site and office teams, and ensuring accurate tracking of project progress. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage technical information efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Project Documentation & Technical Coordination

  • Manage and organize project drawings, contracts, and technical documents.
  • Maintain updated records of revisions and approvals.
  • Ensure proper filing and archiving of project documentation.
  • Coordinate communication between site engineers, consultants, and management.

Reporting & Planning

  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
  • Assist in preparing project schedules and work programs.
  • Support preparation of technical submissions and method statements.
  • Track project milestones and deadlines.

Procurement & Material Tracking

  • Support procurement documentation and material request follow-up.
  • Monitor material delivery schedules and usage reports.
  • Coordinate with store and procurement departments for material tracking.

Administrative & Communication Support

  • Ensure smooth communication between departments.
  • Assist project managers with documentation for meetings and presentations.
  • Support internal coordination and workflow organization.

Job Requirements

Education

BSc Degree in Civil Engineering

Experience

  • 4–6 years of professional experience
  • Experience in project documentation, coordination, and construction office management is highly preferred

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent documentation and record management skills
  • Good knowledge of construction processes
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project)
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational ability
