Job Description
The Partnership & Proposal Writer is responsible for developing high-quality proposals, grant applications, and partnership documentation to secure funding, business collaborations, and strategic alliances. This role requires strong research, writing, and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
Proposal Development
- Draft, edit, and finalize grant proposals, project bids, and partnership documents.
- Translate organizational goals into compelling proposals that meet client or donor requirements.
- Ensure all proposals are accurate, compliant, and submitted on time.
Research & Analysis
- Conduct market and sector research to identify funding opportunities.
- Analyze potential partners’ needs and align proposals with their objectives.
- Track and report on proposal success rates and feedback for continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with government agencies, NGOs, and private partners for collaborative opportunities.
- Build and maintain a network of potential partners and donors.
Reporting & Monitoring
- Maintain a central database of proposals, submissions, and outcomes.
- Prepare periodic reports on business development and partnership activities.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Development Studies, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years experience in proposal writing, business development, or partnerships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong research, analytical, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and online research tools.
