Job Description
Plan International Ethiopia is seeking a Project Coordinator – SRH Alliance to lead the implementation of the Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) Alliance Project at regional and woreda levels. The role will coordinate planning, implementation, monitoring, partnership management, and reporting to ensure quality project delivery and compliance with donor and organizational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate implementation of SRH project activities at regional and woreda levels.
- Support project planning, budgeting, reporting, and donor compliance.
- Manage partnerships and collaborate with government institutions, CSOs, and alliance members.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and capacity building to project staff and partners.
- Oversee monitoring, evaluation, learning, documentation, and evidence generation.
- Strengthen collaboration with regional authorities, health service providers, academic institutions, and community stakeholders.
- Promote gender equality, disability inclusion, safeguarding, and youth participation across project activities.
- Represent the project in coordination meetings, technical working groups, and partnership forums.
- Support community engagement, policy advocacy, peer education, and innovative SRH interventions.
- Ensure compliance with Plan International's Safeguarding and Gender Equality & Inclusion (GEI) policies.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Public Health
- Reproductive Health
- Sociology
- Development Studies
- Related Social Science fields
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project management, particularly alliance or consortium programs.
- Strong experience in Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) programming.
- Experience working with multiple implementing partners and complex development projects.
- Knowledge of SRH and GBV strategies, child marriage, FGM, and teenage pregnancy initiatives.
- Experience in planning, budget management, and delivering trainings.
