Job Description

Job SummaryThe Project Manager will lead the planning, implementation, coordination, and establishment of the Koelim Hospitality Learning Center. The position will oversee project operations, construction activities, partnerships, business development, and project monitoring to ensure the successful launch and sustainable operation of the Learning Center.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, implementation, and coordination of the Learning Center.
  • Manage day-to-day project operations and ensure activities are delivered on schedule.
  • Monitor project activities, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Oversee construction and establishment of the Learning Center.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure quality work, timely completion, and compliance with project standards.
  • Build partnerships with universities, hotels, tourism organizations, government agencies, development partners, and private-sector stakeholders.
  • Support business development and identify revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Follow up on marketing, branding, and promotional materials for the Center.
  • Ensure completion of budgets, progress reports, and performance monitoring and evaluation.
  • Supervise project staff, consultants, and service providers.
  • Promote professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

🎓 Education:

  • Master's Degree preferred, or Bachelor's Degree in:
    • Project Management
    • Hospitality Management
    • Hotel Administration
    • Business Administration
    • Related fields

💼 Experience & Skills:

  • Experience in project planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Strong business development and partnership management skills.
  • Experience engaging government institutions, private-sector organizations, international partners, consultants, and contractors is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong team management abilities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to identify opportunities supporting sustainable tourism and hospitality initiatives.
  • Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of tourism/hospitality operations, customer service, industry standards, destination development, and hospitality management is preferred.
