Job Description
Air Lines Pilots' Association, Ethiopia (ALPA-Ethiopia) is seeking a qualified and responsible Property and Stock Accountant to manage, control, and safeguard the Association’s assets and inventory. The position ensures accurate property records, timely reporting, compliance with procedures, and efficient coordination with finance and management teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all association property and stock
- Receive, record, and document all property handovers
- Conduct regular inventory checks and identify shortages
- Prepare and submit monthly stock and property reports to the Accountant
- Perform full property inventory every six months
- Identify expired or soon-to-expire items and coordinate disposal procedures
- Ensure proper documentation and ethical handling of assets
- Support procurement planning through accurate stock reporting
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification & Experience
- BA Degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, or related fields
- Minimum of 2 years experience in store management or finance department
- Strong knowledge of inventory control systems
- Good computer skills (Excel and accounting systems preferred)
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and accountability
