Job Description
Safaricom Ethiopia is looking for a software engineer with strong Android/mobile development experience to join its Fintech Digital Channels team.
Core Technical Requirements
- Strong experience with Kotlin and JavaScript
- Android application development using Kotlin/Java
- Flutter experience is an advantage
- MVVM/MVP architecture
- Jetpack components including Compose, LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation and Room
- Firebase
- REST APIs, Retrofit and JSON
- Git, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD
- RESTful APIs, GraphQL and microservices
- Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure or GCP
- Security concepts including OAuth, JWT and encryption
- Unit testing with JUnit
Experience with Google Play Console, App Store release processes, debugging and performance optimization is also required.
