Job Description
Keda Machinery Casting PLC is inviting qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the position of Senior Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, ensuring tax compliance, and maintaining accurate financial records.
The role also involves coordinating audits, monitoring cash flow, managing accounts payable and receivable, and supervising junior accounting staff to ensure effective financial management.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the company's daily accounting and financial transactions.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Handle bank reconciliation, cash management, and cash flow monitoring.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including supplier payments and customer collections.
Ensure proper calculation and timely payment of VAT, withholding tax, payroll tax, pension, and other applicable taxes.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and company financial policies.
Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits.
Supervise and guide junior accounting staff.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Accounting, Marketing, or any related field of study.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
Required Skills
Financial reporting and accounting management.
Bank reconciliation and cash flow management.
Knowledge of Ethiopian tax regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
