Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate customs declarations and clearance documents.
• Coordinate with customs authorities, clients, freight forwarders, and transporters.
• Follow up on customs inspections, assessments, payments, and shipment releases.
• Process customs declarations through Ethiopian electronic customs systems.
• Identify and resolve documentation and compliance issues before submission.
• Maintain accurate and confidential customs and client records.
• Ensure all customs clearance activities comply with applicable regulations and procedures.
• Support timely and efficient clearance of shipments.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution.

Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in customs declaration and clearance.
• Demonstrated experience in Ethiopian customs clearance processes is required.

Mandatory Requirement

• Valid Ethiopian Customs Declarant Certification is required.
