Senior Geologist – Alluvial Gold Mining

The successful candidate will provide technical geological expertise to improve exploration accuracy, reduce unnecessary excavation, support efficient mining operations, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead field exploration activities and identify high-potential alluvial gold zones.
• Assess geological conditions before deployment of production equipment.
• Help reduce unnecessary excavation and improve overall mining efficiency.
• Prepare professional geological maps and exploration documentation.
• Prepare daily field reports and regular exploration reports.
• Maintain accurate geological data, records, samples, and field findings.
• Coordinate closely with mining, surveying, and production teams.
• Monitor field activities for compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
• Provide regular progress updates and technical reports to management.
• Contribute geological expertise to successful alluvial gold exploration and mining activities.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Geology or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated and verifiable experience in successful alluvial gold exploration projects is mandatory.

• Excellent field geological assessment skills.
• Ability to identify prospective gold-bearing zones.
