Senior Structural Engineer - Tibeb Design and Build PLC

Job Summary

The Senior Structural Engineer will support structural projects from concept through detailed design, perform structural analysis and design, prepare calculations and technical documentation, coordinate structural designs with other disciplines, and provide technical solutions to project and site-related issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design.
• Design reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Prepare structural calculations and design reports.
• Prepare structural plans, sections, details, and schedules.
• Develop structural designs from concept through detailed design.
• Coordinate structural designs with architectural, electrical, and sanitary disciplines.
• Review architectural drawings and identify structural requirements.
• Review structural drawings prepared by junior team members.
• Identify design conflicts and provide practical engineering solutions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary coordination meetings.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical solutions to site-related issues.
• Apply applicable building codes, standards, and construction practices.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and building design.
• Ability to perform structural analysis and design.
• Experience designing reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Strong structural documentation and coordination skills.
• Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of applicable building codes, standards, and construction practices.

Required Software: ETABS + SAFE + AutoCAD

Knowledge of SAP2000, Revit Structure, or other structural design software is an advantage.
