Job Description
The Social Marketing Officer will support the execution of integrated marketing activities to drive consumer demand, strengthen brand visibility, and improve retail sell-through of socially marketed products. This role covers social media management, trade marketing, activations, development of marketing materials, and marketing performance reporting, contributing directly to sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
Integrated Campaign Execution
- Support multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, retail, and activation platforms.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity.
Social Media & Digital Marketing
- Manage social media content scheduling, engagement, and monitoring.
- Support paid digital campaigns and influencer collaborations.
- Track and report digital performance metrics linked to sales impact.
Trade Marketing & Retail Support
- Coordinate development and deployment of POS materials, pharmacy branding kits, and retailer promotional assets.
- Support retail promotions and monitor field execution of visibility activities with the sales team.
- Align marketing initiatives with priority SKUs and sales targets.
Activations & Consumer Engagement
- Assist in planning and executing consumer activations, outreach campaigns, and promotional events.
- Coordinate activation logistics, materials, and agency partners.
Marketing Materials & Reporting
- Coordinate production and distribution of marketing materials.
- Prepare monthly marketing performance and competitor activity reports, including sales impact analysis.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Timely execution of integrated marketing campaigns.
- Retail visibility coverage and quality of trade material deployment.
- Growth in brand reach and engagement on digital platforms.
- Contribution to sales growth of priority products.
- Improvement in retail sell-through in activation-supported outlets.
- Quality and timeliness of marketing and sales performance reporting.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in marketing, preferably in FMCG, pharmaceutical, or social marketing sectors.
- Skills: Trade marketing, activations, digital/social media execution, analytical skills linking marketing to sales performance.
