Job Description
EMDF International PLC is looking for a qualified and experienced Stock Controller (Pharmaceuticals) to manage pharmaceutical inventory and warehouse operations. The successful candidate will ensure proper receipt, storage, documentation, stock control, and issuance of pharmaceutical products while maintaining regulatory and pharmaceutical storage standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, store, maintain, and issue pharmaceutical products while ensuring inventory accuracy and proper documentation.
- Implement appropriate pharmaceutical storage standards, including product classification and designated storage zones.
- Monitor and record storage conditions, including temperature and humidity.
- Track product expiry dates and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate the reporting and proper disposal of expired, damaged, or non-compliant pharmaceutical products.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely updates in the inventory management system.
- Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile physical stock with inventory records.
- Ensure pharmaceutical products are handled and stored according to applicable standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in pharmaceutical stock control, warehouse management, or inventory management is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical storage and inventory management practices.
- Good documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
Mandatory License/Certification
Applicants must hold one of the following valid credentials:
- Valid Druggist License, or
- Valid Pharmacist License / Practicing Pharmacist Certificate
