Job Description
The System Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the hospital’s IT systems and network infrastructure. The role includes installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software, ensuring stable LAN/Wi-Fi and internet connectivity, and maintaining system security through antivirus protection and regular data backups.
Qualification Requirements
- BSc Degree in Health Information, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in a hospital or health facility is an advantage
Required Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Networking (LAN, Wi-Fi, Internet configuration and troubleshooting)
- Hardware and software installation and troubleshooting
- System security management, antivirus configuration, and data backup systems
- Windows operating systems and basic server administration
- Ability to maintain system stability and ensure minimal downtime
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and network infrastructure
- Monitor system performance and ensure network security
- Perform regular system backups and data recovery procedures
- Provide technical support to staff
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Maintain documentation of system configurations and updates
- Ensure data confidentiality and compliance with internal IT policies
