Technician – Electrical | HEINEKEN Ethiopia

Key Responsibilities

• Execute planned and corrective electrical maintenance.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns efficiently.
• Follow LOTO and other safety procedures.
• Perform maintenance according to quality and food-safety standards.
• Support operators with CILT activities.
• Identify and correct equipment performance issues.
• Assist operators with machine adjustments and changeovers.
• Conduct service and overhaul maintenance.
• Apply structured fault-finding procedures.
• Participate in RCFA/BDA and 5-Why analysis.
• Maintain organized work areas according to 5S.
• Record breakdown work orders in CMMS.
• Prepare follow-up work after breakdown resolution.
• Support TPM and APM improvement activities.
• Coach and train operators where required.

Requirements

Education: BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent vocational education.

Experience & Skills:

• 4+ years of maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Good technical knowledge of industrial machinery.
• Experience with TPM and autonomous maintenance.
• Knowledge of process automation/control.
• Experience with Windows, Office, and Maximo.
• Low-voltage work certification.
• Strong LOTO knowledge.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, AutoCAD/P&ID, and wiring diagrams.
