Job Description
The Warehouse and Distribution Manager will oversee the entire supply chain operation, including warehousing, inventory control, and distribution activities. The role requires strong leadership, planning, and logistics management skills to ensure smooth product flow across outlets.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Plan, organize, and manage warehouse activities.
- Ensure proper storage, stock rotation, and inventory accuracy.
- Implement warehouse safety and quality control standards.
Distribution Management
- Oversee timely distribution of products to outlets.
- Optimize transportation routes and logistics processes.
- Monitor fuel usage, fleet efficiency, and delivery performance.
Inventory & Supply Chain Control
- Maintain optimal stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliation.
- Coordinate with procurement and operations teams.
Team Leadership
- Supervise warehouse and distribution staff.
- Set performance targets and provide ongoing coaching.
Qualifications
BA Degree in Procurement & Supply Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years relevant work experience.
- At least 3 years in a managerial role within warehouse and distribution management.
- Experience in Hotel or Restaurant industry is an advantage.
