Job Description
The Senior Accountant will manage financial records, oversee accounting operations, and ensure accurate financial reporting. The role requires strong experience in accounting systems and the ability to supervise accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
- Manage general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and financial regulations.
- Monitor budgets and financial performance.
- Supervise junior accounting staff.
- Maintain accurate financial records in accounting systems.
- Support audits and financial reviews.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Accounting
- Finance
- Or related fields
Work Experience
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience
- Experience with Peachtree Accounting Software is required
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in accounting software (especially Peachtree)
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and leadership ability
