Job Description
The Branch Manager will lead branch operations, oversee staff, manage financial performance, and ensure compliance with microfinance policies and regulations. This role is central to achieving branch targets, improving customer service, and implementing the company’s strategic initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage daily branch operations and ensure smooth workflow.
- Lead, supervise, and develop branch staff to achieve operational targets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, microfinance laws, and KYC principles.
- Monitor branch performance, including financial, operational, and customer service metrics.
- Analyze branch financial reports and prepare operational plans for improvements.
- Promote microfinance products and services to customers.
- Ensure proper internal controls and risk mitigation at the branch level.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of company operation policies and branch operations.
- Basic understanding of microfinance products, financial management, and reporting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical skills for financial and operational report preparation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
Qualifications & Experience:
MA/BA Degree in Marketing, Management, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
2–4 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a Senior Credit or Loan Officer role
