Job Description
Green Scene Energy PLC, an Ethiopian renewable energy company specializing in solar energy and clean cooking technologies, is seeking an experienced Head of Business Development & Growth to lead commercial growth, strategic partnerships, sales pipeline development, and business development activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the commercial pipeline and close deals across EPC, clean cooking, water pumping, and consulting services.
- Monitor competitors, market trends, and business opportunities.
- Provide quarterly market and competitive insights to leadership.
- Build institutional partnerships and manage investor relations.
- Maintain and coordinate the investor due-diligence data room.
- Lead competitive positioning and support pricing decisions with the CTO and CFO.
- Lead, manage, and grow the Business Development team.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of business development experience in a commercial company.
- Verifiable track record of contracts won.
- Experience in energy, infrastructure, or related sectors is preferred.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline using CRM systems.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
Salary
ETB 90,000–130,000
