Job Description

The Senior Auditor is responsible for internal audits, risk assessment, and financial oversight to ensure the company operates efficiently and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct internal audits for branches and Head Office operations.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and operational processes.
  • Analyze financial statements and report audit findings to management.
  • Ensure compliance with financial laws, microfinance regulations, and company policies.
  • Provide recommendations for improving operational efficiency and risk mitigation.
  • Support capacity-building of staff on auditing and compliance best practices.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of auditing and accounting principles.
  • Thorough understanding of financial laws, NBI directives, and microfinance regulations.
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and prepare reports.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and human relation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • BA Degree in Accounting, Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
