Job Description

The Senior Auditor is responsible for examining financial records, evaluating internal controls, and ensuring that the organization complies with financial regulations, policies, and procedures. The role helps strengthen transparency, accountability, and operational efficiency within the organization

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal audits of financial and operational activities.
  • Review accounting records and financial statements for accuracy.
  • Evaluate internal control systems and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify financial risks and propose corrective measures.
  • Prepare audit reports and present findings to management.
  • Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.
  • Support management in strengthening financial governance.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields:

  • Accounting
  • Accounting & Finance
  • Management
  • Related fields from a recognized institution
  • Professional certifications such as:
  • ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)
  • CIA (Certified Internal Auditor)
  • are highly preferred.

Work Experience

  • Minimum 4 years relevant work experience
  • Including 2 years as Accountant, Auditor, Insurance Operations Officer,
    OR
  • 4 years as Junior Accountant, Junior Auditor, or Insurance Operations Officer

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of auditing principles and accounting standards
  • Analytical and financial investigation skills
  • Excellent report writing and documentation ability
  • High integrity and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
