Major Duties

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
• Review journal entries and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities
• Prepare management reports and financial statements
• Ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards
• Prepare audit schedules and coordinate external audits
• Monitor tax obligations and ensure timely tax payments
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Identify financial risks and recommend corrective measures
• Maintain proper financial documentation and reporting procedures

Education & Experience

• BA Degree in Accounting & Finance or related field
• Professional certification such as ACCA or CPA is an advantage
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years at senior level
• Manufacturing or audit firm experience preferred

Skills

• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and financial regulations
• IFRS reporting knowledge
• Advanced Excel and accounting software proficiency
