Job Description
mywish Enterprise PLC is looking for Senior Internal Auditor is responsible for planning and conducting independent, objective audits of the company’s financial records, transactions, and internal control systems. The role ensures compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and Ethiopian tax laws while proactively identifying financial and operational risks.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- BA or MA in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, or related fields
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance
- At least 3 years of proven experience in internal audit roles, preferably in a PLC environment
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proven experience as an Internal Auditor or Senior Auditor in a PLC business environment
- Strong knowledge of internal audit standards, risk management, and internal control frameworks
- Solid understanding of Ethiopian tax laws and financial reporting standards
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases
- Ability to analyze large volumes of data and prepare detailed audit reports
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- High ethical standards, integrity, and ability to work independently
