Senior Science Teachers – Bethlehem Youth Academy

Key Responsibilities

• Lead instruction of advanced science modules, integrating laboratory experiments with theoretical concepts.
• Coach and prepare students for regional science examinations and high academic performance.
• Support science-stream curriculum development and instructional material planning.
• Guide laboratory material procurement and promote proper laboratory safety protocols.
• Mentor and coach junior science teachers on effective teaching methods.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with school and national curriculum standards.
• Provide after-school enrichment activities and academic support to students.
• Participate in INSET trainings and professional development activities.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and student-centered learning environment.
• Support student development through effective classroom management and mentoring.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

• BSc or B.Ed. Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.

Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in a private school.
• Proven experience preparing students for regional examinations.
• Preference may be given to teachers capable of teaching multiple subjects.

Salary

💰 Minimum Gross Salary: 28,500 ETB
